The 140 pump can be used submersed (with intake strainer) or for external use (with the optional attachment of a hose connection) and is ideal for the use in fountains and ponds (version 140G) as well as in the aquarium and for industrial use.
Equipped with standard-threaded inlet and outlets, it can be easily connected to hoses and tubes available on the market and can be adapted to the different uses.
The pump is equipped with a flow control device, which can be used in both submersed and non-submersed conditions to alter the flow as required.
In its submersed use, the 140 pump is equipped with a special device which simplifies very much the cleaning operations. It is sufficient simply to rotate the “comb system” to eliminate from the strainer any lime scale or algae deposit, without having to take off the front chamber of the pump.
